Ode to the Van

Over a month ago
Jon's van rambled down the road
Five miles later, he got doe'd
An hour later, he got a towed

The van was a wreck; headlight hanging
Jodi waiting in the car; her head a-banging
Jodi sat quiet as a mime
The van on the truck leaked green slime

The van has been living at the body shop
The other day it was still in pieces
Jon's mad as hell; make the nightmare stop!
Jodi's stressed out and needs a Reese's!

Thanksgiving's coming; will we be going?
To make things worse, it could be snowing!
Until we hear more, we just ain't knowing.
